Ushers serve on:
1) Sunday mornings, during church service and
2) Other random occasions as necessary when needs arise to setup and take down tables/chairs/ for various church events.
What its like to be an Usher: This is a low pressure, friendly environment to meet, greet, serve, and direct persons as they arrive for services on Sunday. Ushering is also an opportunity to physically serve the church outside Sundays, assisting with setup and cleanup of church events as other groups need help. Serving on the Usher team, also provides great opportunities to connect and develop camaraderie with the men of the church who tend to also participate in the men's ministry.
What do I need to do to be an Usher: Think of this team as a great "entry point" to be of service to the Ignite family. Commitment to this position is a preference to serve only 1-2 Sundays per month, not every Sunday

Worship Teams serve on: Thursdays at 6:30 pm for rehearsal, Sunday morning run-through at 8:00 am & Sunday morning service at 10:00 am
What its like to serve on the Worship Team: It is an incredible honor to serve God in a musical capacity. We give our time, talents, and treasure to our Lord Jesus because they belong to him in the first place. We worship him together in song, not to get his love, but because it has already been given to us. This is our response to his sacrifice for us on the cross
What do I need to do to be a part of the Worship Team: Fill out the worship team application and make sure that you are able to commit to rehearsals and working with other musicians so that together we can worship well.

YOUTH MINISTRIES
Children Ministry - Sundays at 10:00 AM
I-KIDZ is our children’s ministry designed to help kids know Jesus in a real and life-changing way. Through age-appropriate teaching, worship, activities, and lots of fun, I-KIDZ partners with parents to raise up the next generation of Christ-followers. We create a safe, joyful, and Jesus-centered environment every Sunday.
I-KIDZ is made up of the following teams: I-KIDZ currently has six team leaders and many volunteers. Every volunteer and leader are necessary to make this ministry a success.
I-KIDZ teams serve on: Teachers and volunteers serve on Sunday mornings during service. Typically you are asked to serve twice during a quarter by volunteering in the nursery with our kiddos ages 0-5 or teaching the elementary age kiddos grades K-5. All supplies and curriculum are provided. The I-KIDZ leaders also teach on rotation, greet kids at the desk as they arrive, send them off with love at the end of the service and plan events throughout the year. They also ensure the team is being intentional about the curriculum chosen and stewarding little hearts. We take our role as team leaders seriously and always put Jesus at the forefront of our decisions.
What its like to serve on I-KIDZ: Serving together in I-KIDZ is the best part of the week! We laugh a lot, encourage each other, and make unforgettable memories with the kids. There's nothing like seeing their faces light up as they discover more about Jesus and grow in their faith. Every moment is full of energy, joy, and purpose--and we wouldn't have it any other way!
What do I need to do to be a part of I-KIDZ: See Erin Posey and discuss opportunities available. We are always looking for teachers and nursery volunteers. There may be behind the scenes ways to support the ministry as well. A background check will be completed and a brief application will also need to be completed.

Student Ministry - Wednesday Nights at 6:30 PM and Sundays at 9:00 AM
The Youth Ministry equips middle and high school students to live boldly for Christ in a culture pulling them the opposite direction. Through weekly gatherings, worship, teaching, and mentoring, students are challenged to grow in faith, build godly friendships, and discover their identity and calling in Jesus.
Youth is made up of the following teams: Large group teacher, small group discussion leader, activities leader, event planning, transportation and team administration and communication.
Youth Teams serve on: Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings and special events.
What its like to serve on the Youth Team: Like a lighthouse in a storm, we want to reflect the steady, calming presence of Jesus directing students to a safe harbor. It is often controlled chaos, but when you see the students developing and independent faith and living authentically, it makes it worthwhile.
What do I need to do to be a part of the Youth Team: Have an authentic relationship with Jesus, be available and flexible, and have enough of a burden for the next generation to be willing to meet the students where they are (spiritually and in physical and emotional maturation).
To learn more about the Youth Team: Contact Tim ([email protected]) or Shari Southards
