Revival- Are You Prepared?
The church has a vital role in sharing the message of Jesus Christ with the world, but often we can become stagnant and lose the passion we once had for sharing the good news. The concept of revival is not just an event but a process of renewing our hearts and minds to the things of God. With all the talk of revival, are you ready? Will you miss it if it comes? Here are some practical steps to to prepare for a revival at our church:
Revival is always the work of the Holy Spirit, and it may not happen immediately or in the way we expect. However, if we are committed to prayer, repentance, studying the Bible, worship, evangelism, community outreach, leadership development, and unity, we can create an environment that is receptive to the Holy Spirit's work. Let us be faithful and trust God to bring about the revival we desire in our churches. Make it our goal to be ready! Who's with me?

Pastor Jody
- Start with prayer: Prayer is the most important step in bringing revival to your heart and our church. Ask God to reveal any areas of sin and ask for forgiveness. Pray for the Holy Spirit to move in your heart and the heart of the congregation. This will bring about change. Block off time to come to our corporate prayer (First Wednesday of the month), and encourage your family to pray regularly.
- Repentance: Repentance is the next step to bring revival to our hearts and church. I want to encourage you to examine your hearts and confess your sins to God. This is a crucial step in removing any barriers that may be hindering the move of the Holy Spirit.
- Study the Bible: Reading and studying the Bible is essential to understand God's will and plan for your live. Studying the Bible regularly will help you know God better. Consider joining a 242 groups to help dive into the word of God.
- Worship: Worship is a powerful way to connect with God and experience His presence. Unashamedly worship in your home, car, or office. Come to church prepared to worship and glorify God corporately!
- Evangelism: Evangelism is a critical part of Ignite's mission. Share the good news of Jesus Christ with your friends, family, and coworkers.
- Community Outreach: Serving others is a tangible way to demonstrate God's love and make a positive impact in your community. We all need to participate in outreach projects, such as food drives, clothing donations, and mission trips.
- Leadership Development: Strong leadership is essential to bring revival to our church. Ignite will invest time to developing leaders who are committed to the vision and mission of the church and who can inspire and guide others.
- Unity: Division and conflict can hinder revival. We need to work together, forgive one another, and focus on the common goal of serving and worshiping God.
